The Oxfam, Zimbabwe Country Programme is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the post of Human Resources Business Partner. About The Position:

At country level, the Human Resources Business Partner works as part of the Senior Management Team to provide a professional, business focussed organisational development and human resource management in, delivering a proactive and solutions-based approach for resolving issues and ensuring that staff are effectively resourced, managed and developed to deliver organisational strategy. At Regional level, the role functions as a member of the Southern Africa regional HR team, working with other Country HRBPs and the wider Global HR team to to drive service improvements and initiatives and initiatives which support Oxfam to execute its responsibilities effectively and to successfully deliver its mandate.

As custodian of HR policies, systems and services in country, this position will be responsible for developing and delivering the country HR plan to ensure that staff have the full range of skills and capabilities required to implement the Zimbabwe country strategy. This role has a responsibility to ensure that all staffing issues are managed in line with Oxfam Policy and procedures and to facilitate effective implementation by managers, or working alongside managers, to support delivery. At a strategic level, the HRBP will focuses on longer-term people issues, matching resources to future needs, and macro-concerns about structure, quality, culture, values and commitment and at operational level, they delivers on day-to-day operational HR functions.

What We Are Looking For:

Applications are invited from individuals who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field such as Personnel Psychology, Industrial Relations etc. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ practical working experience of general human resource management with expertise in providing a superior, proactive, business focused service at senior management level and substantial demonstrable experience in organizational development, especially capacity building and skills transfer, learning and development and knowledge management, including experience in creating a learning and sharing environment.
