Job Purpose | To provide HR Support to the business to optimize individual and organizational effectiveness, focusing on HR process and systems (Recruitment, performance management, development, career path, retention and IR), as well as taking ownership for all HR-related administration. The role also requires the management of the HR administrator(s) |
Qualifications | Social Sciences Degree from a reputable institution IPMZ Diploma |
Experience | 3 – 5 years working experience in a similar position |
Duties & Responsibilities | Co-ordinate recruitment process as per recruitment procedure. Facilitate business unit onboarding/induction. Manage performance management process in line with performance management policy. Facilitate and co-ordinate performance appraisal sessions. Oversee Training and Development programs, follow through on training needs, schedule training and ensure individuals attend training. Maintain and review manpower plan according to business needs. Implement site specific agreements. Ensure cases are handled in a procedural and substantially fair manner. Ensure employee queries are resolved expediously and to the satisfaction of employees. Ensure that HR and Learning and Development administration and filing is up to date and correctly filed (100% accurate) – both on line and manual filing. Provide competent advice and guidance to line on HR and L & D administrative matters. Be able to analyse data and provide findings and recommendations to line managers. Compile monthly, quarterly and Annual HR and L & D report (adhere to deadlines) as required from time to time. Manage leave in order to ensure compliance to company leave policy. Administer Interprets existing Group Five policies, processes and recommends amendments where the scope for improvements is required according to the Zimbabwean labour laws. Participate in meetings related to all employee relations, including disciplinary investigations and resolutions, counselling of staff, grievances, retrenchments and conflict resolution. Continuously conduct investigative interviews/root cause analysis to address issues that concern BU and provide appropriate solutions/recommendations for the management action. Interpret labour laws and HR policies. Conduct disciplinary hearings. Analyse information quickly and use it to make decisions |
