Kheth’Impilo is a leader in solution development and implementation for health systems strengthening, community systems services strengthening as well as a range of innovative community based models of care in marginalised communities. EQUIP is a Project funded by USAID that seeks to implement innovative approaches for accelerating treatment coverage for HIV & TB in 22 Districts in Zimbabwe.
The EQUIP project is hiring the following senior positions for its Zimbabwe activities, and based at the Khethimpilo Office in Zimbabwe.
Deputy Country Director & Technical Lead (Programmes)

The Deputy Country Director will lead and direct the implementation of programme activities in all supported districts. Working with the Country Director he/she will ensure high-quality technical programming through hands-on guidance and support grounded in the programme’s strategic objectives and adhering to expected technical quality and implementation framework.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Medical Degree or Equivalent
- An advanced degree in (MPH, PhD, or related degree in public health or social sciences, evaluation, demography, epidemiology, etc.) including training in quantitative methods.
- Significant experience in development programs, mainly in the HIV/AIDS & TB
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex programmes and working effectively with national and provincial authorities and entities and other partner NGO institutions
- High level of interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills, including an ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with a broad range of public sector counterparts, donors, and other key stakeholders
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in HIV/AIDS &TB, health systems, capacity building, livelihoods and PEPFAR monitoring and evaluation highly desirable.
