A growing FMCG company is looking for an experienced management accountant that will play a pivotal role of aiding managerial planning and commercial decision-making by providing appropriate financial information and undertaking related accounts administration.

Job Description
Management of daily financial and transactional accounting activities to ensure real time processing of business transactions into the ledger. Preparation of all ledger reconciliations with specific attention on the Loan-book Ledger reconciliation. Ensuring the ledgers alignment to the bank loan asset impairment methodology.
Management of accounts payable aimed at timely payment of suppliers. Fixed Assets management. Raising and releasing of all accruals and prepayments. Monitoring of all other assets and liabilities for example Staff Accounts, Accounts Receivables, Deposits and Part Prepayments.
Review and batch approvals of support staff journals. Daily ledger reviews aimed at the detection of accounting errors and processing of corrective entries.
Ensuring that financial records comply. Performance of month end closure procedures. Production and review of the monthly Trial Balance. Preparation of monthly Management Accounts Packs. Maintenance of parallel records for amounts that need segregation in the tax computation as at year end.
Preparation of exceptional reporting through extraction and analysis of appropriate accounting and core lending software data.
Candidate Specification
- Experience: 4 years
- Education Level: Degree
- Qualifications: Accounting or Finance Related
- Software: Advanced Excel/Pastel/Sage IQ Retail
- Equipment: PC
- Knowledge Of: Financial planning and analysis.
- Skills To: Apply accounting techniques to plan and budget.
- Ability To: Accurately prepare reports and monitor financial controls.
