Description

The Position:

  • To complete the full bookkeeping and accounting function from source documentation to the production of management accounts
  • Classifying and recording numerical data to keep financial accounts
  • Ensuring all business transactions are recorded in the correct accounting ledgers
  • Maintaining accounting records and preparation of accounts
  • Reviewing the company’s systems and analyzing risks
  • Providing management with weekly and monthly financial reports
  • Negotiating terms with suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
  • Managing staff in administration functions and revenue collection points

 

 

Requirements

Skills:

  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relations
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to plan and organize
  • Report writing and presentation skills
  • Computer literate

Qualifications and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
  • Knowledge of accounting based packages preferably Preferably Pastel and QuickBooks accounting programmes
  • Working experience in the tourism, catering or hospitality industry is an added
    advantage
  • Clean class 4 Driver’s licence

Analytical, Self-Starter, Pressure resilient, Deadline driven, Persistent, Integrity, Honesty, able to handle large volumes of data
