Three (3) vacancies: The University of Zimbabwe Clinical Research Centre (UZCRC – Medical Jobs Zimbabwe
The University of Zimbabwe Clinical Research Centre (UZCRC) seeks to hire experienced staff to take part in the area of HIV/AIDS Research. These are demanding posts requiring good communication skills both written and interpersonal.
1) Medical Officer
Qualifications and experience
– MBChB or equivalent
– At least three years post internship experience as a clinician in the public health service
– At least 6 months of pediatric working experience including pediatric HIV care
– Clinical experience in a research-related field would be an added advantage
– Registration with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe is an absolute requirement
– Should be in possession of a current practicing certificate given by the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.
The Medical Officer will be responsible for executing the study and will report to the Investigators.

2) Nurse Counsellor
Qualifications and experience
– Diploma or Degree in Nursing
– Counselling qualification
– Must have at least 5yrs clinical experience and at least 1 year working experience in pediatric care
– Must be registered with Nursing Council of Zimbabwe
– Experience in research and computer literacy an added advantage.
The nurse counsellor will be responsible for enrolling and following up research participants and will report to the clinic manager.

3) Dietician, Part Time
Qualifications and experience
– A BSc Honours degree in Dietetics Or BSc degree in Dietetics with a postgraduate diploma in Dietetics
– Registration with the Allied Health Practitioners Council
– At least 3 years clinical experience
– Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council
– Experience in research is an added advantage
The dietician will be required to work with the research team and participants in executing the study and will report to the clinic manager
