Software Developer Interns
Responsibilties
Undergraduate students in or beyond their third year of study
Understanding of computer hardware and software systems, including basic PC architecture, operating systems, relational databases and computer networking protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP etc.
Experience with a wide range of open source systems and tools especially Linux, Postgresql database, BASH, Vi(m), Atom, Eclipse etc
Back-end and front-end web development capability. Proficiency in Python, Java and SQL for back-end development a must. Additionally, must be comfortable with HTML, CSS, Javascript and the mechanism behind template engines like thymeleaf, JSP, q-web etc
Impeccable work ethic, team player and business minded
Self-starter with strong problem solving skills
Benefits
K1,000 – K1,500 stipend per month; actual amount to depend on assessed competency
