Secretary/ Senior Secretary/ Chief Secretary

Assist in the co-ordination and running of the Academic Registry Department of Women’s University in Africa.

Duties of the Secretary / Senior Secretary / Chief Secretary :

  • The secretary will be Planning and diarizing appointments for personnel in Deputy Registrar’s Office (Academic).
  • Typing and filing correspondence for the section.
  • Distribution of internal correspondence generated in the office.
  • Organizing sectional meetings and taking minutes at Academic Registry and administrative meetings. ‘
  • Request and collect stationery for the section. .
  • Provide receptionist services for Academic Registry and attending to business visitors.
  • Performing any other related tasks as assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent
  • 5 ‘0’ Levels including English language
  • At least two years’ relevant working experience

OR

  • Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Services
  • 5 ‘0’ Levels including English Language
  • 2 years’ working experience.
