PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
This position exists to ensure that water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects, programs and awareness interventions are implemented effectively, professionally, and in accordance with the project documents and donor guidelines.
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS
• Provide support to project planning, implementation and evaluation through ensuring quality and integrity of implementation, including adherence to technical guidelines, administrative systems, and established deadlines. Ensure gender mainstreaming, protection, and DRR in project and program activities
• Contribute to Capacity Building and provision of technical support to communities, towards active and sustainable participation in WASH service delivery
• Participate in organisational reporting and information management including compiling relevant reports in line with agreed deadlines and reporting structure, updating and managing the output/outcome tracking system using the Management Information System output.
• Contribute to Networking & Relationship Building by interacting with other organizations and government institutions at local level or as directed by Campaign Manager. Participates in town; district; provincial level and other relevant WASH coordination meetings and events. Ensure necessary liaison with government ministries, town councils, civil society partners, local politicians, communities, businesses and contractors at grassroots level.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, preferably in public health, and /or other qualifications relevant to WASH
• A Master’s degree relevant to the post will be an added advantage
• At least two years practical field experience
OTHER COMPETENCIES
• Ability to anticipate and understand client needs.
• Proven ability to undertake community development work and training.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to address challenges and complex situations.
• Ability to work in partnership with service providers and local partners
• Ability to write concise, analytical and accurate reports to agreed deadlines
• Knowledge and understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes and the ability to collate and analyze data
• Good communication skills in English and Shona
• Clean Class 4 driver’s license
