The following position exists at this award winning NGO for for a suitably qualified individual to work in Harare Zimbabwe

Reporting to the Technical Lead, the ME&R Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing systems for the monitoring evaluation and reporting of programs. The ME&R Officer will oversee the quality assurance in the collection of good quality data as well as analyse and provide critical interpretation of the data that allows for the improvement of programme implementation and management. In addition, the ME&R Officer will provide input to all process and outcome reporting, support programme planning, reviewing and formal programme evaluations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation
• Minimum of at least 3 years working experience in ME&R and possibly Research
• Experience in planning and managing ME&R systems for Social and Health programmes including HIV/AIDS programmes
• Ability to work independently and pro-actively, and as part of a team
• A thorough understanding of SINJANI Data Elements for HIV /ART and TB related Programs

Skills:

• High level of computer literacy including Access, Word, Excel, Power Point
• Demonstrated ability to train others on Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
• Ability to analyze data sets and provide critical feedback
• Excellent research and numeric skills
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

Desirable:

• A Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Social Sciences OR related research-based qualification
• Experience in a data packages i.e. Stata, SPSS, Epi Info
• Experience in NCD
