Major Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
Technical

  • Design and manage the implementation of programme and project A, M&E plans in alignment with the World Vision DME LEAP framework
  • Participate in project design, revise the project objective hierarchy and logical frame work matrix (activities, processes, inputs, outputs, outcomes and impacts);
  • Manage the identification and design of key indicators, appropriate tools, formats and procedures of operational monitoring at each level of the objective hierarchy;
  • Produce reports as per A, M&E plan’s reporting schedule and in accordance with approved LEAP reporting formats
  • Disseminate information from M&E to project management, implementing partners and funding agencies;
  • Formulate and ensure inclusion of A, M&E budgets in programme and project design documents
  • Develop and manage an updated database and information management system for programme indicators and monitoring activities;
  • Prepare the Terms Of Reference, design and costing of baseline, evaluations and needs assessment surveys
  • Follow up complaints and respond to complainants no matter how they are received (help desk etc) to ensure they are made on time and according to the guidelines.
  • Support staff to follow Feedback and Complaints Policy and Procedures and other complaints mechanism guidelines where relevant e.g. Help Desk and Suggestion
  • Box Guidelines. Monitor and ensure confidentiality, timely and appropriate response and correct documentation
  • Implement and support district staff to implement information provision guidelines and district level information provision strategy at all registrations and distributions, including setting up and taking notice boards to the field.
  • Participate in all accountability assessments and consultations. Intentionally and regularly, informally and formally consult with beneficiaries, non-beneficiaries and stakeholder at distribution and registration points. Develop relationships with community members and key stakeholders.
    Knowledge and Skills:
  • A degree in social sciences, statistics, development studies and other relevant disciplines.
  • At least 2 years direct experience in design and implementation of A,M&E systems; including qualitative and quantitative approaches to assessment and monitoring
  • Experience in participatory assessment, monitoring and evaluation, training and facilitation, data processing or analysis
  • Commitment to understanding international humanitarian standards, especially the Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct, Sphere, and the Humanitarian
  • Accountability Partnership (HAP) Standard;
  • Ability to communicate and work with beneficiary communities and stakeholders with professionalism, compassion and as a representative of the organization
  • In-depth working knowledge of computer based statistical packages including SPSS, CsPro, Epinfo and Excel; and information dissemination software.
