Old Mutual is a leading financial services provider. We require a Development Manager in Windhoek. This role is accountable to build and grow a new team of academy advisors. Ensuring the team’s profitability by managing results, resources and risks within the framework of the business plan for the area.
Minimum Requirements…
- Namibian Citizenship;
- Previous management experience or Sales Manager;
- Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage ;
- Acumen in Marketing, Sales, Human Resources and / or Accounting will be an added advantage;
- An understanding of the sales environment, factors that drive sales and impact on sales;
- Computer literacy;
- Highly energetic with drive, proactive, positive thinking and enthusiastic;
- Strong conceptual thinker;
- Be assertive;
- Enjoy Coaching others;
- Have very good interpersonal skills;
- Performance orientation;
- Facilitating change;
- Problem solving; and
- Have good networking capabilities.
Job Specification…
- Recruitment and selection of academy advisors ;
- Coaching and development of academy advisors ;
- Managing the existing business processes (i.e. conservation, outstanding business, financing, administration and client care);
- Building and sustaining a productive team; ;
- Guiding and directing staff to achieve operational excellence standards;
- Creating a climate for optimal performance;
- Ensuring compliance to processes and procedures in order to minimize business risk;
- Accountable for local marketing; and
- Responsible for external networking and relationship building with key stakeholders.
