Data Entry Officer: Action Contre la Faim

Organisation: Action Contre la Faim

Job Title: Data Entry Officer

Deadline: 11 October 2016

Duration: 5.5 months

Based in Mberengwa

Action against Hunger was founded in 1979 by a group of French intellectuals in response to the emergency in Afghanistan. These included Françoise Giroud, Bernard Henri Lévy, Marek Halter, Alfred Kastler (a Nobel Laureate in physics), Guy Sorman, Jacques Attali, and several other doctors, journalists and writers. While the fight against hunger had previously been an element of more general humanitarian action (the fight against poverty, promoting better health, etc.) they founded an organisation that was exclusively dedicated to ending  hunger. Action against Hunger is now recognised as one of the leading organisations in the fight against hunger worldwide.
ACF is a registered charity, founded in 1979. Action Contre la Faim operates in 23 countries. The international network of Action Contre la Faim is represented in Paris, London, Madrid, New York and Montreal. Teams in the field combat hunger on four fronts: nutrition, food security, health, water and sanitation.

Action Contre La Faim Zimbabwe seeks to fill this vacancy for a Food Assistance Project based on voucher distribution in Mberengwa together with Nutrition trainings conducted by a Local Partner.
