General Beltings is the only sole manufacturer of conveyor belting in Zimbabwe and the second such plant in Africa and therefore supplies virtually all the country’s requirements as well as regional markets, with competition coming from imports.
The company exports approximately 20% of its products to Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania and Namibia.

Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position that have arisen at General Settings Limited, a Bulawayo based rubber manufacturing company.
Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Servicing the domestic market in the Southern region with both consumer and capital goods )
New market penetration and effective back-up service
Constant client contacts and diarized customer visits
Effective management of the order process; enquiries, quotations, order processing, delivery and after sales/ Customer relationship
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
A Degree in Sales and Marketing and/or Business Studies
A diploma in Rubber Technology will be an added advantage
Be organized, mature and have an eye for detail
Must have good selling and negotiation skills
Be well groomed and ready to travel extensively and interact at all levels
Working knowledge of the ISO standards series 9000 and 14001 will be a distinct advantage
2 or more years experience in a similar position in the manufacturing environment
