Job Summary

Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning marketing strategies for consumers and capital goods
Directing activities of all marketing personnel
Developing new products
Managing selling prices, selling expenses and debtors
Ensuring the maintenance of profitable margins on all products
Gathering and analysing marketing information
Contributing towards the value chain improvement and ensuring sound manufacturing and delivery to the customer
Ensuring effective costing and management of site jobs
Site visits and technical back-up service
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Must have a degree or Higher National Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Mining Engineering or Rubber Technology
A diploma or Higher National Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage
Must have good selling and negotiation skills
Be well groomed, and ready to travel extensively and interact at all levels
Working knowledge of the ISO standards series 9000 and 14001 will be a distinct advantage
At least five years experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment
Knowledge and experience of rubber conveyor belts and rubber products will be an added advantage
