Equity Analyst Jobs Vacancy Zimbabwe

We are seeking an Analyst with 1+ year of strong fundamental and macro Equity Markets experience for our Research Team. We would also look at someone with no experience so long as they strongly displayed mental aptitude to get up to speed at a relatively quick pace.

Primary responsibilities:

• Researches and evaluates ZSE listed companies.
• Prepares written reports on these companies which includes investment ideas and
  reasons supporting ideas based on analysis of relevant factors.
• Advise clients on stock market investments
• Analysis of local and international economic trends and how they affect the stock market
• Provide advice on transactions requiring sponsoring broker and on IPO’s, mergers, right offers etc
• Send daily market prices and updates to clients
• Write and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on stock market activity
• Client visits and attending company briefings
• Evaluation and analysis of published financial statements of listed entities
• Company and portfolio valuations
• Input/analysis on any new business development that IH Group may undertake
• Any other duties as assigned by superiors

Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong academic background ideally with CFA, CA, ACCA or relevant post graduate qualification
• Exceptional analytical abilities as well as presentation and communication abilities
• Highly motivated and a capacity to be highly productive
• An ability to be highly adaptive to client needs and requests
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage and allocate your time efficiently
• Candidates in possession of degrees from foreign universities or are working overseas and want to return to Zimbabwe are encouraged to apply.
