Clinical care/ART Officer
Responsibilities
Liaise with the provincial and district medical offices to support the delivery of HIV related clinical care and ART services
Supports the development of implementing plans to strengthen local infrastructure with particular focus on HIV related clinical care in the province
Ensures the training of relevant staff in HIV related clinical care and ART provision in the province and follow up with on-site mentor-ship to the newly trained staff health
Provide regular technical assistance to ZPCT II B supported sites to ensure quality of HIV related clinical care and ART services
Assist in the development of evaluation strategies for HIV related clinical care indicators
Work in collaboration with senior clinical care officer in resolving HIV related clinical care implementation issues at provincial level
Qualifications
MBBS or Clinical officer
Five years experience in public health, including HIV/AIDS programs
Three years experience in clinical care and ART provision at health facility level
Sound understanding of HIV/AIDS technical areas
NGO experience with ARV programs
Familiarity with Zambian public sector health systems, NGOs and CBOs
