Major Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
Review all Commodity Reports from all the District sites and provincial warehouse.
Produce accurate and reliable monthly global Commodity Status Reports; including the main Commodity Status Report (CSR), Loss Status Report (LSR) and Recipient Status Report (RSR).
Work with the CARO Coordinator to supervise and provide training for all other commodity staff especially CARO Assistants, Food Monitors and warehouse supervisors at field level.
Responsible for data integrity. Prepare accurate and reliable statistical analysis as required by the management.
Plan for spot checks in all warehouses to review the physical inventory, stacking, ledger books and stack cards.
Manage the CTS Database for World Vision
Maintain a clear and complete paper trail for all the commodity transactions from USAID and or from port to World Vision main warehouses, to secondary warehouses to distribution centers and finally to ENSURE’s / beneficiaries.
Maintain a clear accounting and documentation process for each shipment and maintain the shipment files.
Perform any other duty as requested by the CARO Coordinator or his/her designee.
Qualifications and Skills:
An Honours degree in information & Technology, Statistics, Accounting, Business or relevant field.
Professional technical skill desired in Commodity Management
At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of CTS Management, Commodities Management/ interaction with community structures.
Strong documentation and communication skills, with evidence of documentation products
Familiarity with USAID Tittle II Commodities Management
Must have strong training skills and ability to network, influence, and be diplomatic when dealing with partners (within and without WV).
