Butchery Manager – Retail
Our client the largest local and regional seller of meat, fruit, vegetables and other fresh produce products is looking for the above to join their team
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Purchase, cost, breakdown and display and extensive range of fresh and chilled meat products
2. Define and implement an effective hygiene, cleanliness and food safety programme according to company standards
3. Deliver exceptional level of customer service
4. Extensively plan and monitor production, sales, margin, waste and shrinkage within the department
5. Manage and mentor a diverse group of butchers to achieve targets and service levels within the department
Requirements
1. Relevant qualifications
2. 5 – 10 years in a similar role in a retail / supermarket setup
3. Must have knowledge of meat promotion and market planning
