Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the vacant position of Business Development Manager which has arisen within a reputable organisation.
Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to execute the following duties and responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing marketing plans for the subsidiary including monitoring and timing the implementation of marketing activities, which generate new business.
Responsible for product development and research in order to ensure that the market is responsive to products and services developed.
Increase the brand visibility of the company by ensuring that the subsidiary’s products and services are known and recognized, thus increasing market growth.
Contacting prospective clients, making presentations to clients and closing out sales.
Meeting specified sales targets, attending to and handling all customer queries and questions.
Manage the subsidiary’s public relations and promotional affairs in order to maintain and enhance the unit’s corporate image.
Provide editorial direction including the design, production and distribution of marketing material for the subsidiary. This involves the co-ordination of all print and electronic material.
Responsible for client serving and ensuring that our products meet the customers’ expectations.
Attend to and handle all customer queries and questions.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Marketing Management and MBA will be an added advantage.
A clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
At least 3 years’ marketing experience, preferably in the Medical Aid Industry.
Excellent communication and presentation skills arc essential.
