Branch Controllers job vacancy-Zimbabwe 2016
Our client is looking for several Branch Controllers to join their team.
They are a Harare based Life Insurance company but are expanding and opening branches all over Zimbabwe. They are currently looking to fill the positions in their Mutare, Masvingo and Gweru branches.
Duties Include:
To manage and monitor day-to-day performance of Agents and promote sound basis for staff development, performance related rewards system and succession plan.
Selection and recruitment of Agents in liaison with Sales and Marketing Officer
Maintain the agreed minimum Agents compliment at all times.
Implementing the Company’s marketing strategy that promotes the growth of quality business.
Provide training to Agents.
Ensuring that Agents and Branch Clerk uphold professional standards as required by Life Offices Association, the office of the Commissioner of Insurance and IGI Life underwriting philosophy.
Accompaniment of Agents on presentations.
Ensuring the Branch and each Agent meets the required production/performance standards.
Monitor and control Branch costs and ensuring self-sustainability of the Branch
Be able to provide client service and ensure preservation of business.
Marketing of Group Business (procurement of Pension Fund and Group Life Assurance Schemes).
Coordinating the credit control function of premium collection and periodic visits to Paying Authorities in arrears.
Record and keep Branch business statistics and submission of weekly and monthly Branch Reports to the Sales and Marketing Officer.
Holding Meetings with Agents and attend to their welfare.
To be the Company representative in your area of operation
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY IN A BRANCH MANAGER/CONTROLLER, SALES AGENT OR FINANCIAL ADVISOR ROLE.
KEY SKILL
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong agents team.
Computer literacy is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience
Must have Min. 5 years experience
