ActionAid Volunteer Program Opportunity-Zimbabwe 2016
PURPOSE OF THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
To provide graduates with the opportunity to gain work exposure with an International Organization mandated to work with poor and exclude people in Zimbabwe to eradicate poverty and injustice. Successful candidates will be attached to Finance, Programs (Women’s Rights), Climate resilience, Sustainable Agriculture and Disaster Management, Governance, and Monitoring and Evaluation.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Volunteers will work alongside Actionaid International Zimbabwe Staff who will be responsible for exposing the students to systems, procedures, policies and functions of the departments to which they will be attached. Please note that a detailed Job Description will be made available to shortlisted candidates upon request.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE
Applicants should be recent graduates with a relevant bachelor’s degree (Social Sciences, Information Technology, Development Work, Women’s Rights, Agriculture, Finance, Business Studies, Economics or Business Studies)

NB: Please note that these are volunteer positions meant to provide graduates with relevant experience and they are not full time jobs.
