UNFPA PROGRAMME ANALYST IN ZIMBABWE OFFICE

Position Summary:

This job is located in the Zimbabwe Country Office. Under the guidance and supervision of the Programme Specialist Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and in close collaboration with the operations team and programme support unit, the Programme Analyst assists in the ASRH programme management including planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation.

The Programme Analyst supports the design, planning and implementation of UNFPA supported programmes/projects within national strategies. S/he supports the members of the program team to effectively contribute to the implementation of the UNFPA Zimbabwe Country Program with a particular focus on youth programme.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Education: A Master’s degree in social or health sciences, public health, or related social science field is preferred.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least 5 years demonstrable experience in programming for young people including development, design, and implementation of programs for adolescents with a focus on reproductive health.
  • Experience in working with international donors and the UN system is an asset
  • Appreciation of research, monitoring and evaluation concepts.
