Internship vacancy-Zimbabwe 2016

Internships are full-time (40hrs/week)
Under the supervision of the Logistics Officer, the Logistics intern will learn all aspects of logistics including but not limited to logistics administration. S/he will assist logistics and records management such as updating vehicle maintenance schedules, updating assets register, updating printers’ maintenance schedules, filing of logistics files and general housekeeping of the department.
Specific Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of administrative policies, procedures and systems
Assist with creating and/or updating logistical records under the guidance of the logistics officer
Properly file and label logistical files, including: vehicle files, procurement files, insurance files, fuel files
Prepare payment requests and checklists for files to be submitted to the finance manager
Assist in the procurement of small value items
Other tasks as assigned by Logistics Officer
Qualifications
Students studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and majoring in Transport Management, Logistics or Procurement or Administration; from a recognized College/Institutions with support letters from their learning institutions looking for attachment posts.
