Job Description
Our client ,The Swedish Development Partner,IM, is a Swedish NGO working in the field of health, education, economic empowerment and civic society strengthening in more than 13 Countries worldwide.IM has been working in Zimbabwe since 1986 supporting civil society organisations in community development.Our strategy in 2015-2017 focuses on the right to education, preventive health and economic empowerment.IM supports local partner organisations financially and in organisational capacity development.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the effective program planning monitoring evaluation and learning(MEL) and reporting of all programs supported by IM in Zimbabwe.
Provide techinical support and capacity building of all suported by IM in the areas of RBA, strategic planning, and budgeting ; PMEL, reporting and other developmental areas.
Support Civic Society strengthening in advocacy and campaining.
Network with Civic Society partners and other stakeholders in areas relevant to IM’s Education, Health, Civic Society strengthening and Economic Empowerment programs.
Monitor and follow up all IM Partners’ program peformance and compliance and compliance with IM’s system and/or polices.
Assist IM Management in proposal development/fund raising.
Together with the IM team assist in partner assesment and selection.
Document and contribute material for IM’s external communication.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong commitment to partake in becoming strong and Sustainable agents of change.
Demonstrated experience in results based PMEL and partner support .
Extensive experience in RBA.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office Communications.
At least 5 years relevant work experience 3 of which should be from International development environment environment.
Barchelor’s Degree in Develpment Studies ,Social Science ,Economics ,or other relevant studies.
Valid passport and clean class 4 driver’s licence.
