1) Advocacy and Communications OfficerThe Advocacy and communications officer will coordinate the activities of the organisation in all advocacy issues, support the all structures in creating a positive and lasting image of the organisation with all the varied stakeholders. Produce relevant I E C material, which addresses various advocacy issues. Play a key role in local capacity building for advocacy issues at support group level. Perform any other duties as required by the Executive Director, supervisor and like authority.
Qualifications and experience
– A degree in Social Sciences, communications, or equivalent from a recognized institution
– A traceable ability and passion to work with people living with HIV and AIDS, with good knowledge of HIV and AIDS programming in Zimbabwe
– Proven experience of NOT less than 5 years hands on implementing projects involving people living with HIV/AIDS, integrated community and home-based care or psychosocial support
– S/he must be computer literate and a clean class 4 driver’s license is a MUST

2) Project Officer
The Project Officer will provide an all-round technical support on programmatic needs relating to the Zimbabwean National Network for PLHIV support group strengthening initiatives, economic strengthening and positive living to support groups for children, youth and adult groups and human rights.
Qualifications and experience
– A degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, or equivalent from a recognized institution, or diploma in counseling
– A traceable ability and passion to work with people living with HIV and AIDS, with good knowledge of HIV and AIDS programming in Zimbabwe, willing to work with support groups in Zimbabwe
– S/he must have knowledge of basic program management skills, report writing and program development skills, research methods, community mobilization and participatory approaches
– Proven experience of NOT less than 5 years hands on implementing projects involving people living with HIV/AIDS, integrated community and home-based care or psychosocial support
– S/he must be computer literate and a clean class 4 driver’s license is a MUST
