Description
The Position:
- To complete the full bookkeeping and accounting function from source documentation to the production of management accounts
- Classifying and recording numerical data to keep financial accounts
- Ensuring all business transactions are recorded in the correct accounting ledgers
- Maintaining accounting records and preparation of accounts
- Reviewing the company’s systems and analyzing risks
- Providing management with weekly and monthly financial reports
- Negotiating terms with suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
- Managing staff in administration functions and revenue collection points
Requirements
Skills:
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relations
- Time management skills
- Ability to plan and organize
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Computer literate
Qualifications and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
- Knowledge of accounting based packages preferably Preferably Pastel and QuickBooks accounting programmes
- Working experience in the tourism, catering or hospitality industry is an added
advantage - Clean class 4 Driver’s licence

Analytical, Self-Starter, Pressure resilient, Deadline driven, Persistent, Integrity, Honesty, able to handle large volumes of data
