HR/ HSE Manager
Our client, a well- known drilling and mining company, is currently in the market for the above mentioned position.
Responsibilities
• Implements programs by providing HSE and HR services
• For HSE and HR functional areas, complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
• Develop and implement Job Safety Analysis & Risk Assessments
• Analyses and controls occupational hazards – recommends corrective actions where necessary
• Promotes worksite or product safety by applying knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, psychology, physiology, and industrial health, safety and environmental laws
Candidate Requirements –
• HSE and Human Resources Qualifications & Knowledge
• Knowledge of principles and procedures for health and safety, personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and personnel information systems
• Law and Government- Knowledge of laws, government regulations to include OSHA, TCEQ and labour
• Minimum 3 years experience in a safety related discipline, preferably within the mining industry
• Minimum 3 years experience of human resource generalist experience
