Two (2) Research Nurses : Centre for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS Research (CeSHHAR) Zimbabwe
Centre for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS Research (CeSHHAR) Zimbabwe in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare, Population Services International and other partners are conducting a study to assess the feasibility, safety, acceptability and cost of rolling out early infant male circumcision (EIMC) to babies born in selected health facilities in Zimbabwe using neonatal circumcision devices. Research findings will be used to inform the roll out of EIMC in Zimbabwe.
We are looking for individuals to start work immediately.
The positions will be based in Harare.
The nurse midwife will be responsible for
– Screening and enrolment of study participants
– Consenting participants using international ethical standards
– Reviewing post-circumcision clients and making necessary referrals
– Maintaining proper documentation on all study forms
– Any other duties as needed by the study
Qualifications and experience
– A degree or diploma in nursing
– A qualification in midwifery
– Experience of working in a clinical trial setting
– GCP and Ethics certificates
– Counselling qualification and experience will be an added advantage
