TRANSFER PRICING SPECIALIST
On offer is a highly varied role within a tight knit and high performing tax team. You will work closely with the Head of Transfer Pricing and become fundamental to the continued success and excellence of this highly regarded tax function.
The Role:
i. Assist clients in identifying their inter-company and cross border transactions
ii. Assist clients to comply with Transfer Pricing legislation
iii. Preparation of transfer pricing reports including transfer pricing policies and thin capitalisation analysis
iv.
Ensure that global operating models are
structured efficiently and in a way that manages transfer pricing and tax risks
v. Identifying, documenting and periodically reviewing all intra-group transactions
vi. Perform functional analysis of new businesses to amend transfer pricing policies
vii. Supporting tax audits where transfer pricing related issues that are under review
viii. Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation
ix.
Assist in growth and development of the
transfer pricing practice within the firm by looking for clients in a variety
of industries including banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, mining,
energy and power
x. Role will give the right candidate the opportunity to develop career in Transfer Pricing.
Ideal Candidate:
i. Minimum qualification of a degree in Accounting/Economics
ii. Transfer Pricing experience, preferably with some experience in the financial services sector
iii. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. A good “team player” who possesses strong leadership qualities
iv. The confidence and ability to build relationships in the business and work collaboratively with non-tax areas
v. A strong interest and enthusiasm for Transfer Pricing and the international developments in this area.
vi. Excellent writing skills
vii. The ability to apply technical knowledge
and analysis with logical and well organised systematic reviews.
Skills:
i. This role would ideally suit a candidate with 5 years tax experience with a strong desire to develop a career in transfer pricing role
ii. Candidate should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of transfer pricing requirements and understanding of accepted methodologies
iii. Advanced Diploma in Transfer Pricing would be an added advantage
