Role Description:
Reporting to the training Manager, the incumbent will oversee the management of the Ngezi Skills Development Center to ensure the implementation of all training requirements in accordance with the overall business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and administration of the Ngezi Training Department.
- Co-odination of all trainee programmes including Cadets, Graduate Learners and Learner Miners.
- Initiation and designing of new training programmes to cater for the changing need of the business.
- Implementation and management of the Business Management System.
- Implementation and use of the SAP HRD module to manage the training discipline.
- Providing organisational development support.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Social Science Degree
- A proven track record in the administration of managerial development programmes.
- At least 5 years management experience in a technical training environment.
- Sound Knowledge and experience in trainee development programmes
- Ability to plan, analyse and control is essential.
- Computer literacy, including SAP, Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Experience in the mining sector would be a distinct advantage.
