Technical Officer
Responsibilities

Provides technical leadership and support related to MC expansion strategies and approaches in both public and private sector facilities in the province
Provide technical support in the establishment and improvement of HIV clinical care/ART and MC programs
Support the development of guidelines, tools and recommendations related to the implementation, evaluation of HIV clinical care/ART and MC programs
Ensures the training of relevant health care workers and selected community volunteers in MC in the province and follow up with on-site mentor-ship to the newly trained staff health
Contribute to development of lessons learned from programs and projects related to MC and clinical care/ART and MC and apply these lessons to modify existing programs and improve the design of new programs
Work with M and E program officer to follow up on the health facility activity and provincial reports and provide technical assistance as needed in collaboration with the respective technical officers
Qualifications

MBBS or clinical officer
Five years in public health, including HIV/AIDS programs
Experience in care and support for HIV/AIDS at the clinical level
Sound understanding of HIV/AIDS technical areas
Experience with ARV programs, while not required, would greatly enhance the application
Familiarity with Zambian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs
