RTI International has been partnering the Ministry of Health and Child Care in Building Health Data Dissemination and Information Use Systems in the Republic of Zimbabwe. One of the activities under this work is the improvement and mqdernization of health information collection systems. As a result a need has arisen to hire ICT professionals to work on MOHCC ICT systems.
Systems Analyst/Developer
Position Overview:
The System Analyst is responsible for effective systems analysis, architectural design, enterprise edition software development, software installation, system auditing, debugging software applications, implementation, and documentation of new and existing software’s. This individual will also be expected to formulate Enterprise business processes, flow charts and troubleshooting solutions, user support guide and training guidelines. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated; be able to identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes; and employ innovative approaches to problem solving.
Key Functions:
Works with the MOHCC National Health Information and Surveillance Unit, National ICT Unit to develop, adopt and adapt ICT systems for improving delivery of health services.
Requirements
Qualifications Required:
- Relevant degree in computer science, information systems or any appropriate discipline;
- Five (5) years’ experience in systems analysis/development, design and architecture in a relevant environment;
- Knowledge and experience in using different development frameworks such as spring MVC, hibernate, struts, Query etc.
- Knowledge and experience in developing in Java, python, PHP, .net, Android, MS Access, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL
