Description
1. We are looking for subject matter experts (serving and former teachers) to work from home providing online tutoring in Maths and Science subject from primary to secondary levels.
Duties
- Provide first line client support to online learners through email, social media, phone calls etc
- Organizing learning objectives, learning activities an online study timetables
- Curriculum and course development
- Creating assessments and answers
- Review externally developed content
- Improve and maintain students’ involvement and usage of the platform
- Directing and focusing students studies and online revision
- Develop and implement new ways of encouraging participation
- Develop and implement methods of learner feedback and reinforcement.
- Create an atmosphere of collaborative learning.
2. We are looking for subject matter experts (serving and former teachers) to align our wide collection of academic digital content with various regional and international curricula.
Duties
- Conduct a curriculum audit of our academic digital content to find out what is being taught and establish its consistency with the various curricula.
- Align key concepts identified in our academic digital content to the various curricula
- Align our digital curriculum with the various curricula levels (grades, forms, standards, etc) in terms of:
- Content
- Instructional approaches
- Assessments
- Standards
Requirements
Requirements
- Teaching qualification
- 10 years’ experience in teaching Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Biology.
- Digital Skills Passport certification certification or ICDL or any equivalent ICT Skills qualification.
- Experience in examination marking or setting is an added advantage.
