Senior Assistant Human Resources Officer
Principal Duties of the Senior Assistant human Resources officer:
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Officer, the incumbent shall have the following tasks:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Human Resources Development Plan for the Secretariat;
- Assist in the development and implementation of a performance management system at the Secretariat;
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of staff for ARIPO;
- To oversee the arrangement and execution of all training programmes and activities for the Secretariat Staff;
- Administer the payroll of the Organization.
Requirements of the Senior Assistant human Resources officer
Qualifications and Experience of the Senior Assistant human Resources officer :
- Social Science or Human Resources Degree;
- Post-graduate qualification in HR or related field is an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Labour Relations and Industrial Psychology;
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property would be an added advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of oral and written English.
- Knowledge of French, Portuguese or other UN recognised language would be an added advantage;
- Ability to work under minimum supervision;
Age of the Senior Assistant human Resources officer : Minimum of 30 years at the time of making the
application.
Nationality: Candidates must be Zimbabwean nationals or possess a valid Zimbabwe Work Permit.
Base Salary: US$19 840 per annum plus benefits applicable to Grade IC1 STEP 1 of the ARIPO salary scales.
Medical Examination: The appointment is subject to a satisfactory United Nations type medical examination.
