CAFOD’s Southern Africa Regional Office is currently looking for a Programme Support Officer – Monitoring and Evaluation.
Job profile
The post holder will work closely with the Programme Officer to measure the impact and effectiveness of CAFOD’s programmes in line with set objectives and to provide timely information to guide implementation. Specifically, the post will contribute to CAFOD’s aim to ensure and demonstrate effective delivery and impact of our work through providing support in programme development, monitoring and communication as well as managing partner relationships.
Job role
- To review and analyse Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) data from partners
- To strengthen capacity of CAFOD staff to use the M&E framework and tools with partners
- To develop and/or revise programme monitoring and evaluation tools
- To assist in the delivery of external evaluations and baseline assessments
- To support internal and external communications
- Contribute to development of programmes in the region
- To keep up to date with new developments and best practices in M&E
Your profile
We are seeking a motivated individual with strong monitoring and evaluation skills, experience in analysing and producing reports – financial and narrative, excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in monitoring programmes, especially the use of participatory M&E methodologies.
