Job Summary
Description
MSF-Holland, an International Medical Humanitarian organization, is looking for a Medical Doctor (for 4hrs/day). It is a fixed term contract.
Location: Harare
Summary description of the responsibilities/activities:
- Provide clinical care to HIV +ve/TB infected patients: full examination, prescribing treatment and ordering tests.
- Running the cervical cancer screening program, performing quality control of the diagnoses made by nurses and referring for LEEP
- Assist in collection of data and completion of medical reports
- Train; supervise and support nurses and counsellors on proper performance of clinical tasks.
Requirements
Essential requirements:
- Full and current registration as medical officer with Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe and at least 2 years post qualification experience.
- Previous experience in HIV comprehensive care, OI and ARV treatment
- Experience in coaching and training others
- Good command of spoken and written English
Desirable:
- Notable proven experience in an NGO setting
