Responsibilities and key duties
– Provides technical support for monitoring and evaluation of Connect activities
– Review collate and analyze monitoring data ensuring accuracy and completeness for planning purposes
– Participate in data collection tools development
– Filing and ensures maintenance of accurate electronic records by the organization
– Assists in compiling progress reports monthly and quarterly for project activities, using the RBM model
– Provides technical support for organizational research
– Contributes to the organizational learning by preparing and disseminating data on lessons learned, good practices and statistical evidence of program achievements
– Documenting best practices and success stories and assists in disseminating programme evaluation findings
– Facilitate publication of the CONNECTions Journal
Qualifications and attributes
– Social Science, Development studies, Statistics or related Degree
– Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage
– 1 year experience in implementing M&E activities in community work
– Knowledge of research methods
– Knowledge of counselling/family therapy is an added advantage
– Work experience in designing and implementing evaluation strategies
– Excellent documentation and data analysis skills including quantitative data analysis
– Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Willingness to learn
– Attention to detail
– Excellent writing skills for report writing
– Proficiency in using computer software packages
