Molecular Biologist Wanted in Zimbabwe

• Design and conduct research using tools of molecular biology in compliance with set out organizational strategic issues.
• Conduct molecular biology experiments involving techniques such as DNA and RNA extraction,
• Gelelectrophoresis and PCR (both conventional and qPCR).

• Master’s degree in Molecular Biology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• A PhD in molecular biology an added advantage.
• At least 5years post-qualification experience, preferably in a molecular biology laboratory.
• Proven-hands on experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics tools is highly desirable.
• A strong research record.
• Knowledge of good laboratory practice and safety.
• Working knowledge of ISO 17025: 2005 quality management system.
• Knowledge and experience in plant tissue culture.
