Location: HARARE
The client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. As a management accountant you would work for the company as an in-house accountant.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Preparing regular financial statements and accounts, such as profit and loss accounts
- Monitoring spending, costs and budgets
- Analysing the company’s financial performance
- Forecasting and planning future spending and profits
- Recommending ways to reduce costs and increase profits
- Making business decisions with other managers
- Carrying out internal audits of various departments
- Providing external auditors with company reports and financial data
- Managing a team of accounting technicians and finance clerks
- Overseeing the company’s payroll, credit control and bookkeeping systems.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivation
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Must have a CIMA and/or B Comm in Accounts qualification
- Previous experience in producing Management Accounts, budgeting and cost management.
- Must have a min of 3 years experience in a similar role
