Senior Metallurgist – Jobs in Namibia
Reporting to the Manager Metallurgy the main responsibility of the job (Jobs in Namibia) will be to assist in Effective Start-Up and provide Technical support to extensive Plant Operations that will at nameplate capacity mill 15 Mt of ore/annum and produce 15Mlbs U3O8/annum.

Ensure effective Process Management and Quality control
Day-to-Day Technical Process Performance and Efficiency intervention
Process Optimisation and Innovation
Metallurgical Sampling, Testing and Analysis
Project Management
Comprehensive Training and Development of all Operations personnel
Metallurgical Support, Communication
Safety, Health, and Environmental Management
Budget, Reporting, Document Control and Business Planning
Manage Internal and External Relationships
People and Performance Management
Requirements and experience:
B.Eng/B.Sc/B Tech degree in Chemical/Metallurgical/Mineral Processing or relevant National Diploma
Five (5) to Ten (10) years’ Technical/Operational experience of Large Hydrometallurgical Processing Plants
Similar Leadership experience: 3-5 years
Strong Technical skills, Supplemented with Extensive Project delivery and Project management experience in the field of
Process Development for Mining Projects
Uranium Processing experience will be an added advantage
Plant Commissioning and Ramp-Up experience will be an added advantage
Class 4 Driver’s License.
