Applications are invited to the following positions that have arisen within the Transport & logistics Department at a Manufacturing company in Zimbabwe.

Logistics Officer – Internal

• To ensure that all Transportation and Logistical Policies & Programmes of the company’s i.e. Movement of Machinery, Spares, Raw materials, finished products are processed timeously, cost-effectively , and efficiently.
• Advising Management, on a regular basis, regarding Transport issues in Zimbabwe.
• Vetting and Appointment of Eligible Transport and clearing service providers to ensure smooth movement of goods.
• Issuance of Loading Instructions, Dispatch Notes and Collection Orders for all Inward & Outward cargo of the Company.
• Verifying and passing of Transporter’s and clearing service provider’s Invoices as guided by the company’s approved Rates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree/Diploma – Transport & Logistics / Equivalent.
• 5 years minimum experience in a similar position.
• Experience in a manufacturing set-up is an added advantage.
