Job Zimbabwe Local NGO – Finance Officer

Job specification
–    Preparing monthly trial balance and reconciliations
–    Maintain computerised accounting system for the management of programme expenditures
–    Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly management reports
–    Ensures timeous payment of creditors
–    Supports Administrative activities in relation to organizational resources management
–    Ensures compliance with internal control system requirements
–    Prepares annual programmes budget
–    Supervises subordinates and manages their performance

Qualifications and experience
–    Possess a degree in Accounting/Business Studies
–    At least studying towards an Accounting professional qualification eg ACCA, CIMA, CA
–    At least 2 year experience in a similar position
–    Highly computer literate with proven relevant experience in accounting software packages (Pastel)
–    Experience of working with a non profitable organization is an added advantage
–    Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
