ICT Officer Zimbabwe

Major Responsibilities:

• Deployment, Administration and Support of all Systems (Server platforms, Windows Administration, Domino, EPO, Backup, etc.) and Business applications (Sunsystems, etc.) in accordance to the organization’s policies.
• Responsible for Backup of system data and user work files in accordance to the organization’s backup policy.
• Administration, maintenance and documentation of the Local Area Network.
• Resolving end user problems to enable the highest level of end user utilization of network and desktop business applications.
• Capacity building in users. Installing, repairing and upgrading all lCT hardware.
• Performing equipment maintenance on all computers in the head office in accordance with the Hardware Maintenance policy.
• Document best practices of technical processes that are relevant to the position.
• Assist the ICT Systems Administrator and Network Administrators responsible for Field Staff support in dealing with the work load so as to ensure that services are delivered and maintained at the agreed Service levels.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Certified Administrator.
• Five years working experience in the information technology/information systems context, two of these spent administering an office network.
• An exceptional understanding of the Lotus notes platform and the infrastructure that supports it including ISP relations and remote user connectivity.
• Working experience in ERPs and Microsoft products
