Horticulturist Needed – Africa University Initiative

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions that have arisen at Project Tariro (An Africa University related project) based at Old Mutare Mission Hospital.

Horticulturist

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement cropping programmes for the garden and field projects
• Prepare cash flow and gross margin budgets for the garden operations
• Supervise operations of the garden and the fields
• Marketing ofthe products
• Train clients in production of selected horticultural products
• Prepare monthly reports and ensure safety of project property

Qualifications/Experience

• A minimum of a Diploma in Horticulture or Agriculture
• At least two years’ experience in Horticultural production or Agriculture
