Summary

• Our Client Leaders in the Exploration Industry urgently seeks the services of experienced and qualified Dredge Trainers with a minimum of 10 years post grad experience in Gold or Diamond Dredging.
• The incumbent will report to the Mine Manager.
• The environment is multicultural and of mixed Gender.
• We are looking for such divers that are not afraid of taking part of the whole process in setting up dredges, building them, training and executing the dredge operations and are willing to work in Zimbabwe or South Africa. Self reliable guys.
• Our client offers a profitshare model that they will find very accommodating and are a very fun international team working in Diamonds in South Africa and , Zimbabwe and soon several other countries.

Description

• Train, mentor and test dredge operators to required levels of competence
• Ensure that all dredge operators are assessed in terms of their competency levels prior to and after training, where possible
• Ensure training materials and equipment is well-maintained and initiate up-grades when appropriate
• Maintain comprehensive records and generate reports, as required Identify and analyze training needs.
• Compile training and employee development plans and obtain commitment to it from all stakeholders
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of training and development interventions and provide recommendations for improvements
• Research, develop and up-date training course manuals / modules / profiles in accordance with best practice Identify candidates for future dredge operators’ positions and provide career guidance

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience
• A relevant Diploma/ Degree
• Must have exposure in operating heavy dredging equipment
• Must be Computer literate
• Thorough knowledge of Gold or Diamond dredging a MUST
• Possess strong organisational skills
• Ability to train Dredge Operators to the highest levels
• Strong impartation skills
