Objectives of the consultancy
This assessment is intended to provide an analysis on four sectors (Food security & Livelihoods, Nutrition, Water sanitation & Hygiene and Mental Health Care Practices) in Zimbabwe with the following objectives:
The aim is to:
- a) Define thematic and geographical priorities from donors, partners and local authorities
- b) Define potential geographical and thematic priorities for ACF based on risks/vulnerability analysis, gaps of coverage and based on ACF mandate and strategy
- c) Identify the gap of analysis and data to help ACF to narrow down its strategy. This component will inform a second phase of assessment, which may include primary data collection
Consultancy deliverables
- Consultancy work plan
- 1 presentation of assessment results
- A complete assessment report (not more than 40 pages, plus annexes) in English, inclusive of:
- An executive summary
- Background information
- Purpose of the work & methodology used
- Outcomes & findings
- Conclusion
- Recommendations
- Annexes including bibliography and list of people met

- Payment scheduling
The consultant is responsible for personal insurance during the evaluation. The consultant will also provide any necessary materials (including laptops) required for the evaluation.
