Clinical Psychiatrist Vacancies Zimbabwe

MSF-Holland, an International Medical Humanitarian organization, is looking for a Clinical Psychiatrist (for 4hrs/day). It is a fixed term contract for 6. months.

Location: Harare

Summary description of the responsibilities/activities:

• Carry out an evaluation of psychological and mental. health needs of patients.
• Diagnose any psychological or psychiatric disorder and prescribe treatment
• To ensure the patient with mental illness receive appropriate diagnosis and management throughout.
• Provide clinical training for psychiatric dinical staff
• To document programmatic challenges and lessons learnt.

Essential requirements:

• Registered Psychiatrist with at least 3 years post qualification clinical experience
• Previous experience of working with unstable patients
• Ability to cope with stress and adapt to and work within a restricted operating environment
• Good command of spoken and written English

Desirable:

• Notable proven experience in an NGO setting
