Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Information Systems
I am proficient in but not limited to:
Desktop Support to end users, hardware and software, for Windows operating systems.
Managing and administrating the CISCO equipment installed within the organization.
WAN/LAN configurations and maintenance to ensure business systems and process run flawlessly.
Administration of network security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus & intrusion detection system s to protect the corporate network against external security threats
Advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, resolution and documentation of network problems and soluti ons.
Installation and support of network devices servers, workstations, printers/fax machines, phones
Monitoring network performance and optimizing the network for optimal speed & availability.
Install, configure and upgrade network software, such as enterprise antivirus programs.
Implementing and maintaining emergency backup systems for critical network servers.
Research on hot products, services & protocols to support network systems and procurement thereof. Regulation of user access to sensitive data & files to protect against internal security breaches.
