Biomedical Research and Training Institute (BRTl) : TB National Prevalence Survey
Description of the survey : The Biomedical Research and Training Institute (BRTl) have been selected by the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare to conduct the National Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey Funded by Global Fund Round 8 Phase 2 The objectives of the survey are to
- Establish the magnitude of the burden of TB on the Zimbabwean population
- Provide a baseline for future measurement of trends in the burden of TB disease.
Secondary objectives of the survey are to:
- To review health seeking behaviour of Zimbabwean population
- The survey will be conducted from August 2013 to December 2014 in which 8 months will be for data collection.
BRTI is therefore seeking the services of the following field work staff:
- 3 X Medical Officers
- 9 x Research nurses
- 3 x Data Quality Checkers
- 3 x Class 2 Drivers
- 3 x Radiographers
